Departing after breakfast by the route # 301 heading south until Acheral city, passing by San Jose de Lules and the toward the west by the route # 307. The ‘Monumento al Indio’ (monument dedicated to the indigenous) is located 1,100 meters high and at half way. Continuing by this road we’ll get to ‘Parque de los Menhires’, remains of the past that was rich regarding culture and primitive expressions.

La Angostura dike is located in the surroundings of the Park, there you can fish or practice some water sportsTurning left you can get to El Mollar and continuing by the route # 307 you’ll arrive to Tafi del Valle.

These two towns have a special weather condition and they are the preferred summer villages for the residents of Tucuman province. They are a good combination of beautiful landscapes, a special weather, people kindness and a rich history.Continuing by the # 307 route and after 57 kilometers we’ll arrive to Amaicha del Valle, located 2,200 meters over the sea level.

Amaicha has a rich pre-colombian history and it is well known because of the wineries, cheeses and the traditional Fiesta de la Pachamama. Return to the hotel.
