The bus picks up the passengers at the hotels in order to carry them towards Bajo de las Sombras Harbour, where the visitors take a catamaran to cross the south branch of Lake Argentino, known as Brazo Rico.
Once the boat reaches the opposite shore, the guides lead the group towards the glacier and, before starting this exciting experience, they help every passenger to put on the crampons.
The hike takes two hours and after finishing the group returns to the refuge to have lunch.
Finally, you will have one hour free, in which you can walk along the balconies located in front of the glacier.
Important: This excursion can only be taken by people between 10 to 65 years old in good physical conditions.
